Widely recognised as the 'friendly market', Haddington Farmers' Market is a monthly delight, a "gem" - with a wide range of local and seasonal food, drinks, gifts and crafts.
There is always something new to experience and enjoy. The atmosphere, the place to meet friends, chat, sample, browse the guest stalls, discover new products and producers and to pick up recipe ideas and advice.
The market is situated in picturesque Court Street, in the county town of Haddington, East Lothian.
Only 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh with plentiful on-site free parking, behind the Council Buildings.
Half hourly buses to and from Edinburgh stop and pick up at the market. Haddington is also well connected by bus to all the main towns and villages in East Lothian.
There are public toilets adjacent to the site on Neilson Park Road.
Why not visit the market and then stroll through the historic town and see what the many independent shops, cafes and pubs in Haddington also have to offer? Admire the well-tended flowers and plants, or take a walk along the river Tyne, visit historic St. Mary's church, Lady Kitty's Garden or Amisfield Walled Garden.
